Lipids

Lipids are consist of fat, phospholipids, and waxes. Lipids is known mainly for fats. Fat provides insulation and energy storage in animals. Its healthy to have fat just not too much of it. It can also be a health issuse. Fats contains two molecules units, glycogen and fatty acids. Phospholipids are constructed like neutral fats except the third fatty acid is replaced by a polar phosphate group. Its pretty cool how the phospholipids arrange themselves in water. They form a double layer so that the polar heads face towards water molecules and nonpolar tails face towards one another, away from water. I think that this is very interesting. I would love to study more about this process. These concepts of molecules seem like they have a mind of there own or a city fill with different molecules doing their job.
